Decoral Systems is proud to introduce a unique system of decorative powder coating - a metal decoration that can easily transform the appearance of any metal or aluminum products to realistically look like wood.

Decoral Systems has been providing high quality powder coating machines to Europe, Asia and South America for over 10 years.  Decoral’s unique and patented technology enables the simulation of wood grain on metal, aluminum wood grain, and even marble and granite finishes through the use of decorative powder coating.

All metals can be decorated, but aluminum and steel are the most common.  Metals can be molded, machined or shaped even after the wood grain coating is applied.  The wood grain on metal and aluminum wood grain finish is so realistic that it’s almost undistinguishable from real wood, even from a close visual inspection.  Decoral’s system of powder coating permeate the entire thickness of the coating and as a result, the coating cannot be removed by normal rubbing, chipping or scratching.

The wood grain on metal and aluminum wood grain process (i.e. sublimation on metal) begins the same way that all of Decoral’s decorative powder coatings begin, with the appropriate high quality pre-treatment.  Prepared parts are then powder coated with Decoral's specially formulated polyurethane powder.  This powder not only provides protection from wear, abrasion, impact and corrosion, but also acts as the relief base color for the final metal decoration.

Once the part has been powder coated, it is wrapped with a sheet of non-porous material that has the desired metal decoration pattern printed on it using special high temperature inks. The specialized Decoral system is used to transfer the pattern from the paper to the base coat to create the wood grain on metal and aluminum wood grain.  Decoral Systems has the ability and flexibility to decorate wood grain on metal and aluminum wood grain on pipes, bars, angle and extrusions, flat sheets and panel products as well as 3D products such as wheels, door handles, furniture, windows, and etc.
