STATE-OF-THE-ART COATING POWDER MACHINES

decorative powder coatings

When applying the Decoral custom finish coating system, a powder coating is applied as a dry, free-flowing powder via advanced, state-of-the-art coating powder machines.

POWER COATING

The powder coating is electrostatically applied and cured under heat to form a thick layer of paint that will later absorb the sublimation inks. The system can be utilized to coat aluminum extrusions, as well as automobile and bicycle parts.

DECORAL’S UNIQUE SYSTEM

Newer technologies and powder coating machines allow additional materials, including MDF to be powder coated through other techniques. Decoral’s unique system is especially effective on architectural aluminum profiles that need to resist wear and outdoor exposure to UV.
Our system creates a hard finish that is tougher than most other methods.

POWDER COATINGS VS. LIQUID COATING

The main difference between conventional liquid paints and powder coating systems is that powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form.

POWDER COATING ADVANTAGES

  • More environment-friendly, emitting zero or near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC).
  • Produce thicker coatings that won’t run, or sag.
  • Overspray is recyclable, ensuring that 100% of the coating is used.
  • Production lines yield significantly less waste.
  • Covers substantially better on fabricated sharp edges.
  • Can be applied to any shape or form.
  • Generally, capital equipment and operating costs are less .
  • Powder coated items have fewer differences in appearance between horizontally and vertically coated surfaces.
  • A large array of specialty effects, textures, colors and designs.
